Working Principle
Industrial centrifugal fans operate based on the principle of centrifugal force. When the motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, the gas is sucked into the center of the impeller and gains kinetic energy under the impetus of the impeller blades. As the gas moves towards the outer edge of the impeller, the kinetic energy gradually converts into static pressure energy, which is then collected and discharged as high-pressure gas within the volute. This process realizes the pressurization and transportation of gas, and is the core mechanism for industrial ventilation and gas circulation.

1) Impeller: As a core component, the impeller accelerates gas through blade design. Its structure directly affects the efficiency and performance of the fan, and the choice of forward-curved, backward-curved or radial blades should be based on the operating conditions.
2) Casing: The volute-shaped casing collects gas and guides it to the outlet, converting kinetic energy into static pressure energy to enhance the overall efficiency of the fan.
3) Inlet: A well-designed inlet reduces airflow loss and ensures smooth gas entry into the impeller, which is a key factor in maintaining fan performance.
4) Drive assembly: Composed of a motor, couplings, bearings, etc., it is responsible for driving the impeller to rotate. Different drive methods (such as direct connection or belt drive) are suitable for different speed and power requirements.
